Weave Wiki¶
Weave (BETA 1.0) is a new web-based visualization platform designed to enable visualization of any available data by anyone for any purpose. Weave is an application development platform supporting multiple levels of user proficiency – novice to advanced – as well as the ability to integrate, disseminate and visualize data at “nested” levels of geography.
Weave has been developed at the Institute for Visualization and Perception Research of the University of Massachusetts Lowell in partnership with the Open Indicators Consortium, a nine member national collaborative of public and nonprofit organizations working to improve access to more and higher quality data. OIC invites new members -- OIC offers three levels of membership.
See the Weave Beta 1.0 Announcement for details on the release of Weave in June 2011.
